Well, we were en route to Holland and had to find a stop over. We did make a mistake in not checking how far we were from the hotel. But this was more than made up for by the welcome we got from the lovely landlady and her staff. We were offered dinner and breakfast at extra cost but they were good value for money. In particular we are of the view that the breakfast was one of the best, if not the best, we experienced on our journey through Turkey, Chios, Greece, Sicily, Italy and Germany. The landlady speaks very good English which helped us Brits enormously. A double bonus - we chatted to a German couple and it turns out there is a pilgrimage church within 20 minutes of the hotel which was absolutely amazing in its own right. It also has its own car park.

The experience at the accommodation was wonderful. The welcome was warm and professional. We received all the information upon our arrival. The house was cozy and perfect for two adults and two children. The village of Ingenried is small but really charming. We also greatly appreciated the opportunity to visit the cows in the barn. The village is conveniently located for visiting Munich and the surrounding lakes. Overall, the surrounding area is very beautiful. Highly recommended!
Very beautiful location. Very clean and cozy hotel. Very helpful and welcoming host (We had to cancel our booking due to lack of tickets to the Neuschwanstein castle. But later we bought them and the host kindly agreed to reopen our booking. Thank you once again!). The dinner and the breakfast were very tasty. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The castles are 30-40 minutes away of driving.
Beautiful location; loved being able to eat outside, see the view, and hear the bells on the horses in the field nearby; quaint and picturesque. Comfortable room.
