The location is in the countryside, with walks from the door of the hotel. The bowling alley was below our room, but very well soundproofed, so we could not hear anything in our room. There was a good sized car park, and very close to bus stop and train station.

Lovely family run hotel just outside the village centre with private carpark that had lots of space. Spacious room and bathroom - all very clean and comfortable. Nice shady balcony (afternoon) with table and a couple of chairs for relaxing. We had a corner room with windows on two sides so we were able to get a breeze coming through. No lift but they did offer help with bags. Good choice of breakfast - regularly refreshed. Onsite restaurant - reasonably priced with a good selection (including for vegetarians) and great quality. Few mins walk to the town centre
and train station. Hotel provided a free pass for trains and buses that you can use throughout the Black Forest area - you can get to loads of places without having to use the car - so a great bonus. Highly recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to return

What a beautiful location! We loved waking up to the beautiful mountains and all the gardens. Our Innkeeper and his wife were super accommodating, We loved talking with them and learning more about the area and all the places to visit. Their dog, Robbie, was such a sweetie too.

Nice establishment hosts very pleasant nothing to much trouble. Dinner was cooked freshly for us which was very nice. Rooms clean and it's a perfect location for quietness.Across tgr road is the waterfall which I visited after dinner.
Hotel is placed in a nice part of Black Forest. There is a big waterfall just next to the hotel and many hiking paths around it. Hotel is an old style place with a beautiful restaurant. Place is very clean and good choice for family and couples. Hosts are very nice and warm people and rarely we had an opportunity to experience such a nice welcome! Breakfast was good and every morning we had a different type of homemade sweets. Very original!
The place is quite well-maintained. The hosts are really sweet. Breakfast was very good. There is a bus stop right in front of the property and it was easy for us to reach there by bus. However, the frequency of the buses was very low and hence it was really helpful that we could also order dinner here, as reaching other restaurants nearby was not that feasible.
The host was lovely and very kind. The breakfast was enormous and prepared fresh. Our room was large and spotlessly clean, the bed was very comfortable.
The property was aesthatically very good with ample parking for cars. The hosts were quite amicable although they had serious lnaguage issues for propoer communication.
located in a small, quiet but good very near some very good restaurants and wonderful hiking trails. My room had its own balcony it was spacious, with its own bathroom. An ample breakfast, friendly hosts, very clean and comfortable. The village was very small in comparison to others nearby, but for those wanting a more urban scene, it’s a quick, easy drive to get to Freudenstadt.
