Lovely family run hotel just outside the village centre with private carpark that had lots of space. Spacious room and bathroom - all very clean and comfortable. Nice shady balcony (afternoon) with table and a couple of chairs for relaxing. We had a corner room with windows on two sides so we were able to get a breeze coming through. No lift but they did offer help with bags. Good choice of breakfast - regularly refreshed. Onsite restaurant - reasonably priced with a good selection (including for vegetarians) and great quality. Few mins walk to the town centre
and train station. Hotel provided a free pass for trains and buses that you can use throughout the Black Forest area - you can get to loads of places without having to use the car - so a great bonus. Highly recommended and I wouldn't hesitate to return

What a beautiful location! We loved waking up to the beautiful mountains and all the gardens. Our Innkeeper and his wife were super accommodating, We loved talking with them and learning more about the area and all the places to visit. Their dog, Robbie, was such a sweetie too.

The location is in the countryside, with walks from the door of the hotel. The bowling alley was below our room, but very well soundproofed, so we could not hear anything in our room. There was a good sized car park, and very close to bus stop and train station.

We had a very nice stay at the steepleview house. It's a beautiful and quiet location, you can start your hike at the house. The host is super friendly and helped us out with public transport and ideas for hikes and activities. It was also possible to use a charger for our electric car. The room and kitchen were very clean.
The hostess is very friendly and hospitable. The appartment has a (new) up to date kitchen and bathroom. Almost everything we needed was there (extensive kitchenware, spices, towels, wine/shot glasses, oven, microwave, flatscreen tv with HDMI, dishwasher etc.) Also we liked that is was very clean. The location was great, near a stream and quiet + a private parking space and a large balcony with a super view. We had a great vacation! 😄
