Guest house in residential area. Appears to be run by two extremely nice ladies, who couldn't be more helpful. Breakfast was great, entire house spotless. Easy walking to restaurants, kurpark.

The hotel has an excellent location, right next to the main attraction of the town, its 250 year old Park. They also have a restaurant on site which offers good but really overpriced food. Breakfast was acceptable, standard German - bread plus. We got a carafe of hot coffee to go with it. The breakfast area was nice, and had a big balcony. The service was good overall. Our room had a balcony with a distant view of the hills which is a plus when the weather is warm. The room also had black out curtains and shutters which we appreciated. The beds were comfy and the duvets were very plush and warm.

I liked a lot the whole welcoming atmosphere at Haus am Steinberg. The lady at the reception wanted to make sure we all got rooms that we liked! The breakfast was good, the room quiet, walking distance to Caspar restaurant where we had dinner. The room was clean and it had all the needed amenities (shampoo, soap, towels, hair dryer etc).

It was really a nice place, we felt as home. Everything we needed was available. We will sure come again.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. Hotel location was in a very quiet village setting and was able to have a very good night's sleep after a hard day's touring on motorcycle.
The hosts were hospitable and nice. It was no problem to check out later despite the holiday and they provided us with a fridge which was just amazing! Bed was comfortable and bed sheets felt like home :) Thank you!!
Lovely hotel, room large and airy, very clean. Great breakfast and the evening meal we had was great. Nice quiet location just out of Bad Driburg. Nice owners.
The location is in a very quiet suburb and therefore really peaceful! No road noise and the neighbors are also quiet. The beds were comfortable and the appliances in good working order. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and utensils, and there's an oven and freezer. The apartment shares a front door and landing with the rest of the house, but is otherwise completely separate. I couldn't hear any noise from the hosts even though they were present while I was there.
