The owner of the property was really nice. The whole trip was very relaxing and we were close to Rerik and Pepelow, so getting to the beach was easy, if you have a car.
Outside there was a small football field and table tennis tables and downstairs from our room the kitchen and dining area hat books, board games and darts. So even while your food is cooking you can stay entertained.
In the kitchen there is even a dishwasher, so doing the dishes didn’t take much time at all.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Excellent breakfast within the hotel. Despite being a Pension, the attached restaurant was excellent. Although my room was advertised as a "basement" room, it was fine - with daylight. Good location a few minutes walk from station (albeit uphill!).
The Ostsee pension is a treasure. In a quiet part, just outside of Bad Doberan, with the most lovely garden and wonderful room. We felt right at home, with the owner helping us with all we needed: explaining how everthing in the room worked, telling about nice places and restaurants. And he made the best breakfast we could hope for.
A very nice guesthouse, actually two houses with rooms.
