Location is great for a little escape. It’s very quiet and having lots of little cottages creates a nice atmosphere. It has a nice authentic rustic feel but still needs a lot of work after obvious years of neglect (apparently it’s under new ownership). Rooms were simple but clean and comfortable. Do not be put off by the rather austere exterior. Inside the pension is comfortable and clean with large ensuite bedrooms and access to a small kitchen. The two sisters who run the pension are fantastic - very helpful and very friendly. The breakfast is exceptional value for money and is delicious and varied, served with a smile and advice on how to spend your day. There is a bar with outside seating too. Food is available if you wish. The town centre and river are 5 minutes walk away.

Unexpected place.
Great location for city tour, great Tatra museum (especially Tatra museum 2... Reserve couple of hours).
The place.. Antique in a positive manner, and rooms tidy, suitable for a family, a with small child as well, gooood breakfast with avocado salad, tasty tea and selection of perfectly looking cakes, not to mention of a nice service.
Overall rate 15 in a 1 to 10 scale 😊
