Remember about snow chains in winter. That was what we forgot, but the guy from Modrokamenná bouda came down with his 4x4 and took us up. The road up is located within a protected area and chemicals cannot be used for the maintenance.

A great location near to restaurants, a short walk down the hill to the town, or the swimming pool/spa, and only 15 minutes walk to cable cars up to Cerna Hora. It was pristinely clean and had a well equipped kitchen on every floor. The breakfasts were delicious and the owner very helpful and nice. Also, nice small pool in the summer for cooling off after walks up mountains. A lovely stay.
