I just love this place! We were lucky to spend a few days in one of the most beautiful villas in Cyprus The House of Donna Marie and George, in a wonderful Vavla.
That is a unique and peaceful place where you can really relax. Room was spacious and comfortable. Dona Marie is a master chef and the food she prepared was delicious (we had breakfasts and dinners).
I recommend it!

Costas is one ofe the most amazing, simple, artist, soul person you will ever meet...
Dont miss his cooking - its better to tell him what you like to eat and he makes magic!
Costas knows how to do the old works - he can teach, he can learn and he is a histori book - that you talk forever.
You have to know were you are going - in lazania village - there are no café shops, no malls - only 1 restaurant that not always open - the view from the balcony is outstanding, you can seet there and read, maditat, think and relax.
Costas build all - alone with some help from his family. It is amazing to see and feel that a person doesn't need a lot in order to be really happy.
The way to his village is steef - most of it is very Nero road and if its raining - you have to be very careful and drive slowly.
Next to his village there is the amazing monetary - dont miss it!
After the sun goes down - the darkness in the area is totally. It is like a dream because its you and nature - in the most romantic and quiet way...
We had an amazing and important time in costas house - we will definitely come back because there aren't a lot of amazing places and pipoule like that in the world.
From there you can visit some very nice villages and have great walks around.

Really hard to find more caretaking host of your comfort. I mean seriously You can't. The apartment is almost overequipped. The place has its own soul with lovely trees inside and outside the house. There are three cats and one dog totally undisturbing your privacy, but happy to introduce themselves. It was really lovely stay that I can recommend to any couple who likes to see and expiriance new places. The localisation is Perfect to visit many: 25 minutes drive from Nicosia center, 30 from Larnaka, close to Lefkara and other historic villiges You have to visit, also close for some trekking trails. there is also really cheap gasstation nearby. Perfect base to travel across east half of the island.

The Breakfast! The Breakfast was fabulous, Simi created an absolute feast using local ingredients and even created little bite sized appetizers with cured salmon and prawns, when she discovered I liked fish. The breakfast was served in the beautiful Paula's Courtyard at the rear of the property and was so extensive that we did not eat lunch each day!
It was our first visit to Cyprus and Simi was extremely helpful in providing advice on where to visit, including how to cross the checkpoint in Nicosia to get to Girne on the local bus. It was wonderful to sit and chat over breakfast, learning about Cyprus and Simi's extensive travels and life, this lady has lived! We will definitely be back.

Great secluded location - fantastic pool, really comfy king sized bed and spacious bedroom and helpful owner. Mid week clean really appreciated and cleaning staff lovely.

Beautiful place in a lovely quaint village surrounded by lots of hiking routes/nature. Donna-Marie and George are fantastic hosts. 100% recommend having dinner there - it is incredible and one of the best we had in Cyprus! Rooms are very comfortable and beautifully designed.

Our apartment was a gem, a perfect place to get recharged. It was so quiet, and beautifully located in the hills with stunning views of the mountains in the distance. Andreas was a perfect host, it made for an overall excellent experience.
