Everything.. It is a beautiful, peaceful, spacious place, very relaxed and relaxing. Animals all around (monkeys, agoiutis, birds of all kinds, little iguanas...gang of four little bats sleeping the day away on the patio ceiling...the usual CR critters!) Good kitchen. Stargazing - no light pollution at all. Shower is probably the best I've had in CR. Bed/bedding good, towels good. Just precious.

We really enjoyed the air conditioning in every room and a living room with a big sofa where the whole family can relax. Barbecue and laundry room are great assets. There's also a fully-equipped kitchen and as many bathrooms as bedrooms which is very convenient for those traveling in 4-6 people.

Also, the area itself is amazing, almost like a national park. You can see parrots, turtles, iguanas, monkeys, lizards, various birds and other animals everywhere!
The accommodation was stunning and set in beautiful surroundings. The owner took great pride in his accomplishment having built it all himself and deservedly as it really was amazing. We enjoyed the 2 pools and the quiet surroundings and the very private balcony.
The property is located in exceptional surroundings as it it immersed in the jungle - it is perfect for a couple of days of peace and quiet after the busy Santa Teresa. The hosts were very sweet and helpful 😊
The standard of accommodation is excellent and the attention to detail throughout is very noticeable. Breakfast is good and Thomas is such a brilliant host. If you are looking for peace and quiet surrounded by nature then this is the place to be. You will need to have a decent vehicle as it is a few miles from any places to eat and any beaches.
Thomas is such an amazing host, makes you feel right at home. We had a great stay at the lodge - lovely room & great breakfast. The lodge is situated quite close to the sea (driving distance) making it the perfect fallback position for going out on a diverse range of trips during the day & to relax in a nice and quiet environment at night.

When we left Léon even drove us to the bus stop to get to Cobano, when we realised the bus has been missed, he generously dropped us off in Cobano to to continue on our travels! Top man 😀.
We stayed in the two bedroom bungalow that is quite separate and the terrace is very private. The whole place is very quiet and peaceful. We had the additional breakfast on two days and enjoyed it. We were comfortable and slept well. Bridget and Leon are great hosts. We were able to take our dogs with us and they enjoyed their stay also!
