Bed was amazing!
Place is newish so in good condition.
As the pools are shared there was a family atmosphere which was nice.
Best of all dogs are allowed ( I didn’t take mine)! Big shout out to Nana although not sure who she belonged to but she liked belly rubs and treats!
The girls who cleaned the rooms and ran the place were smiley (no English) and very hard workers.

Everyone was so helpful and friendly from the minute we arrived. It was like being in a little community that was super welcoming. The facilities were very clean and the bed were very comfortable. The atmosphere all around made for a relaxing experience.

Loved the owner and staff. Brilliant location. You were close enough to walk to everything you needed and by car had a huge array of beaches to go at. Fred was like the local Oracle. Would definitely go again. Thank you.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The place is really nice, quiet and pretty in the middle of nature. I read some comments that you need a 4x4 to get there but we had a normal car and it was totally fine. Road is ok :).
Great location with quick access (<10 min walk) to the beach for several good beach restaurants. Right next door to a night market which was buzzing with good food and music.
The set up was streamlined but very welcoming. The breakfast was very simple - 2 pieces of bread and an apple left in a brown paper bag. Good idea to allow guests to be self sufficient, but perhaps something a little more substantial is preferred especially if you have a long journey ahead.
This a very quiet lovely place to stay with beautiful gardens and trees. This resort is next to great places to eat and also an eclectic mini mall up the street. The ocean and surfing beach is very close and within walking distance. Great surf! And they have air conditioning and a shared public kitchen! Wonderful place.
My dad and I stayed four nights over Christmas at this beautiful place. We had the most amazing time. The location is perfect, only a short walk away from the beach. It is super relaxed, quiet and most importantly immaculate clean. The hosts Nico & Monica made you us feel welcome and were always but in no way intrusive. What really stood out is that you can feel so much love and attention to detail in every little corner you look.
The hostel is a 10-minute walk from the surf spot and is therefore very well located. the place is very quiet and is close to various restaurants. perfect for those who want to spend their surfing holidays in a quiet and beautiful place. the owner was very accommodating and helpful. I surfed there for 2 weeks and could have imagined staying longer. thanks to rex for the great stay.
Rex and Raquel are extremely great host. They accommodated all my needs and really immersed us guest in the Costa Rican culture. Great hostel to stay at if you are hunting for waves such as myself. Short walk to many good spots.
Nico and Monica were so amazing to host in their quiet little slice of heaven. If you need to get away from it all and relax for a bit by the beach, this is the spot.
