The host family is super friendly and knowledgable of offerings/excursions available and wildlife in the local area. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will be back. The property was quiet, clean and the patio made for a great place to enjoy a coffee in the early mornings as the wildlife was also awakening each day. The kitchenette accommodation within our room was perfect.

We loved everything about the Villa Tucan, the room were just wonderful, one of the best showers I've ever been in. The family that owns the hotel are incredibly gracious and so nice to be around.

I can't wait to go back to Termales, great location with natural thermal pool on site. It is really suited for eco travelers, live with nature. Bungalows have living roof, yet comfortable inside. Everyday waking up listening many birds and howler monkey. Plenty of parking, good breakfast, great staff- Jim at the front desk is a great help, Madelin makes killer cocktails. Last of all, the awesome waterfall of the thermal pools can melt away stress in a second. I stayed before at other resorts, but this one is quiet, secluded, and quaint.
The hosts were very organised and helpful with advice on local shops and restaurants. Apartment in great location in central La Fortuna in quiet street. There was tea, coffee, oil and some other basics in the apartment that we really appreciated after a long journey and because were we not staying a long time.

The manager Annah is an amazing host and source of local information and services at the right price!! The place is really clean and well located away from the city center noise. It is a great hostel to stay while visiting La Fortuna.
The lady in the front of the hostel was very kind and the hostel was located near to the city center! The shower was also warm. The hostel was very cheap, which was nice!
This place was a wonderful retreat away from the crazy busy city centre. It is still close enough to walk into bars and cafes but has the tranquillity of a quiet suburban street which you won't get in the centre.
You couldn't ask for better facilities. The room was comfortable and very spacious. Hugo and maye were lovely hosts, very helpful but also kept to themselves.
Location is quiet but only few min walk from the city centre and local bus terminal. The place is clean and looks cute with the little lights. At night its very quiet excl the beds. Its super cheap.
If you like it, they have a whatsapp group and do a lot of group activities.
