The host is SO KIND and helpful. The location was great: on a quiet street but very close to the beach and main street. The room is a bedroom in a shared, Costa-Rica-style house, so it gives the feel of a more local stay (as opposed to foreign-styled hotels). There's also a kitchen guests can use, which helped us save money (Playa del Coco is expensive!!!).
Quiet place. Hosts were always around and available to help. Good pool. Good location...just a bit away from the busy street but close enough to enjoy when wanting to venture out. The rooms are huge.
Laura, the host, was very nice. The facilities were nice, with a very quiet A/C. The pool was very clean and much to our joy. The hotel offers four kinds of breakfast even for those who book on booking.com without. The location is literally 5 min away from the beach as well as from the center of Jaco and yet you can enjoy peace and silence. There's a little fridge in the room.
Super quiet place, the rooms are big enough, super clean, and the bathroom as well. AC is a must in this pretty hot area! Nearest beach is 8 min walk, 2 min by car, and you have everything you need close to the place (store, bakery, restaurant...). Staff is amazing, nice, efficient and discreet. We really enjoyed the pool, the secured parking for our rental car and the 2 kitchen to cook, make coffee and smoothies. We recommend this place, great location!
Great location at the end of the paved section of road in a quiet area. Lovely grounds with the accommodations and pool away from the road, (The road was not busy). Plenty of lovely birds, big super clean pool, hammocks, shaded areas. Walk a block to the beach or five minutes to a store, restaurant, cafe etc and maybe 15-20 mins to centro. Beds and aircon were excellent. Big showers. Super staff. Fantastic coffee and breakfast. We would definitely come back as we loved it.
A really lovely setting with all the rooms facing the pool - which was great. It was nice and quiet just how we like it with plenty of chairs and loungers to relax. Outside and inside was very clean. It was only a ten minute walk to the beach and to the shops and restaurants - the location was definitely a bonus. The hosts didn't speak lots of English but they were very attentive and accommodating - thank you - we stayed for a week. Would stay here again, it had a bit of character compared to the plush busy holiday complexes.
