The staff was friendly and helpful and the location was nice. Sometimes the sea brings a lot of seaweeds and sticks but that's nature I guess. However the facilities were old and broken (watertap, electrical plug makes sparks, fan needs to he held with wire, the bar and dining area are all in the sand and not the pleasant white sand but hard and wet sand) overal in my opinion this place is way overpriced.

I really liked the room - big and very comfortable, great view of the sea, I liked the atmosphere, the food, the attention to us. Very tasty and varied food at a good price. Everything was accurate and pleasant.

The staff was really nice and welcoming and the place great with many little things to do like volley, rackets etc.. The room was small but nice and clean and bathrooms as well.
We had read before coming that the food was really expensive but there was a large range of price and was still possible to have dinner for less than 30k per person.

Luz is wonderful, just such a great hostess, and her family are so nice. She really will go out of her way for you. Her cooking is great. The location of her villa is beautiful - overlooking the water and at high tide the waves basically lap the building. I loved lying out in a hammock listening to the waves at night! Spotlessly clean, excellent value. Some posters have commented negatively about Marlon the "lancha chico." I get that in some ways - Marlon is being rushed between many different resorts and people and is harried and often runs late. If you're nice and patient with him, he'll really go above and beyond for you. Tintipan Island is a mangrove island, so you can only walk to a couple of other resorts, the rest of the time you need to hire Marlon to take you places. My room was lovely and quiet but I'd recommend one of the rooms facing onto the water so you get the sliding doors opening onto the water.

A nice little escape with each room unique. Comfortable. Wonderful garden with area of hammocks and rocking chairs to relax. Fine breakfast. 5 minute walk to beach means you're away from the sometimes loud music from beach bars. Host is warm and welcoming, making you feel like visiting a friend.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
