Located in a beautiful part of the Amazon just two hours from the main port of Leticia . The facilities were great with tours available with guides from the local village. We would reccomend the sloth tour located on an island across the Amazon river . Ask for Hermogenes the local guide from Peru who was amazing . Make sure that you use mosquito spray as the mosquitos during this tour were particularly savage. We were eaten alive .
This hotel was located in a small village of Mocgua with roughly 900 people living there. Everyone was very welcoming and the location was stunning. Nothing was too much trouble .
The food was amazing ! Every single breakfast lunch and dinner ! The staff could not do enough. Such a great experience and we will return one day!

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Charlie and his family are just great hosts where you quickly feel at home. The chalets are very beautiful and practical with the air-permeable and mosquito-proof walls.
I also took part in excursions offered by Charlie, which were very successful and inexpensive. So my 100 percent recommendation for Cabañas Dechi👍

The place is beautiful and quiet. So many animals around all the time. We loved playing with the monkeys, the cats and dogs, the guacamayas! They offer tours that are very reasonable in term of price and the guide is very nice. The hosts are very friendly :)

Amazing place, calm and relaxing with unbelievably great hosts. Great place to enjoy Amazonas and trip around. Traditional breakfast with chocolate scrambled eggs and fruits and coffee. They provide quite a range of activities including a trip to local indigenous community, rainforest, lakes Tatapoto etc. No problem to get a ride to the village or a 20-30 min walk.
The accomodation is just a few minutes away from the small harbour in a quiet lane. Israel, the host is super friendly and always willing to help. The room is spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Outside you will have a wonderful terrace where you can chill and have coffee and fruits for breakfast. Nothing more we could have asked for.
Our guide Neider was a gem and even if our Spanish is just basic, we managed to get along very well.

Very comfy room, even though there are insects, the bed net helps keep them away;
Great location in the forest, you can really feel you're in the jungle.
