It was beautiful and private…. No noise.
We had a top floor with a large shuttered window, which opened to the most magnificent view. At night, we slept with the shutters open and felt a soft, beautiful warm breeze all night long. The room was large and the decor was lovely. It was close enough to town, but not enough so that you heard the noise of a touristic town. The village was only 15 minutes away. And if you wanted to come back and didn’t want to do the walk, they were tuks tuks which was the form of taxis that Barichara has which were actually quite fun!

My boyfriend and I stayed at “La Casa del Diseñador,” and it was just perfect! You can’t beat the location. It was very comfortable, and Mauricio and his mom were very friendly, and the communication with them was very easy. Whenever we come back to Barichara we are going to stay here again!

Beautiful place and great atmosphere thanks to lovely staff. The restaurant food was good and there are a couple of other options for food nearby. It was pretty quiet, not many other guests, but this was welcome to unwind after a day of climbing
We were staying in a cabana. The room and the view are stunning, boutique feeling. You can open the wooden doors and then you have a view over the vallee from your bed. The bathroom is big. The common spaces down on the hill are also nicely decorated and the food is great. Very helpful staff.
