Very convenient location for the start of the Tayrona hike. Had air conditioning. Simple but good. There are a few restaurants 2 minutes walk.
They provided bag storage when we went on the hike🙏

We ended up staying for 3 nights at Eco Hostal Kuima and could not recommend the place more. Victor and the staff go beyond to help in any way they can, and their general attitude to guests is fantastic. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the pool is a great way to relax. It was rather quiet when we stayed, but I can imagine in peak season the hostal having a great atmosphere. Two dogs, a few iguanas and the hummingbirds can also keep you entertained.
The hostal is located a 20 min walk to Tayrona Entrance (el zaino) and has an onsite bar and restaurant, but there are also a few small shops and restaurants in close proximity.
Would 100% recommend!

Ramon is such a kind and helpful host! He made our stay super comfortable and helped us in anything we needed 😊 we left our big backpacks while visiting Tayrona and when we came back, he had put them already in the room.
The cabin and spaces are beautiful, all integrated in nature. You have courtains for a bit more of intimacy, two super comfortable hammocks and a shower with good pressure. Upstairs you have the bed and a hanger for your clothes. You also have a private space to seat and eat.
Breakfast was delicious, most of all the "arepa de huevo" 🤤
We love our stay there and we also loved that this is a small animal sanctuary! Ramon adopts many animals in need, including a guacamayo, dogs and cats 🥰
Villa Del Río is located near El Zaino and 6 km from Los Cocos Beach. It features free parking. Each room here will provide you with a fan. The private bathroom also comes with a shower.

Fantastic location on the outskirts of Tayrona NP (10 min walk), in a very quiet and beautiful surrounding.
The house is stunning, with 3 double rooms each with its bathroom, a large open patio, in a private garden and with the possibility of swimming in the river just below. You are far away from the road and do not to hear it at all.
Rafael and Luz are very attentive (helping to carry luggages, cooking breakfast and dinners on demand, etc.) to make your stay memorable. Massages - much needed after 6h trek in Tayrona - could be arranged as well and were divine.
We stayed 3 nights with the idea of going everyday to the beach in Tayrona, and ended up staying the second days relaxing at the house.

The most exotic place I've been in Colombia, with nature all around, peaceful and relaxing environment and lots of animals. There are two rivers to cross when entering and exiting from the hostel, I enjoyed the cool feeling of the water cause the weather was so humid :) recommended to bring sandals for crossing. The staff, Manuel and Jair, were absolutely wonderful with their hospitality and kindness all the time, meals were always excellent and so tasty. I just loved it there, thank you for the experience

Only being a few minutes walk to the El Zaino entrance to Tayrona, along with several restaurants, made this a pleasant stay before our visit to the park. Our rooms were clean with a mosquito net, breakfast was large & filling, they had a taxi driver who could pick us up from Minca (we used him as his rates were more competitive than other taxi drivers) and Elsy (the owner) allowed us to store our bags while we stayed overnight in Tayrona even after we'd checked out. As a bonus, they have several cute cats and dogs wandering the property.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The hotel is located at the beginning of the calabazo entrance, which makes it very convinient if you are planing to hike Tayrona. At the hotel there is everything you need to relax, and chill after a long day in the park. Don't hesitate to grab breakfast and eat there in the evening, the cook is fantastic ! I really liked the chill vibe and the friendliness of the hosts.
The location next to the beach was fantastic. Play Brava was a very quiet beach and during the day you have the beach almost to yourselves. The food served wasn't the cheapest but it was very tasty and the staff we very kind and helpful. They provided towels and soap for the shared chalet. They also had a swimming pool which was great since the sea was too choppy to swim in. Beds were clean and comfortable for this kind of property.
Great Breakfast, great location for exploring Tayrona Park, the gardens are beautiful, lots of wild birds flying around all day, and giant mango trees! Excellent stay.

Amazing cabana. We had the family one and we felt so lucky to have so much space, with rocking chairs on the balcony looking out the sea, hammocks under the cabana to relax and our own (very nice) toilet under the cabana.
Sociable dinners as you can choose to sit at a large communal table (or smaller ones if your not feeling sociable).
Diana is a truly amazing host! I’ve never stayed somewhere where the manager has been so friendly, welcoming and helpful before and during my stay! Thank you so much for that. The hotel is cute - really pretty and well kept gardens and a pool to use as well. The rooms are basic but you get exactly what you pay for. Would recommend to anyone who wants great value for money when visiting Tayrona park.
Quiet calm and pretty property. Nice hosts, lovely kids. Walking distance from calabazo entrance for tayrona. Kitchen was shared with hosts but well equipped and comfortable.
Wonderful, helpful host. Cooked a great breakfast and dinner for us on request and very good value. Local organic fruit and veg. Very simple place. But the perfect stop before going to the quieter calabazos entrance to Tayrona park( much better than the crowded route). Also washed and dried 3 loads of washing for our group. Air con was effective and rooms simple and clean. We didn't get a chance to use pool or football pitch.
Great location just off the quiet route into tayrona. Highly recommend if travelling into tayrona. The other locations we passed by on the beach where more touristic.
the location is just outside of the Tayrona National Park in Calabazo, this means it is quiet and idyllic but close enough to get everything you need. The pool was excellent, the food good and cheap. All the staff are attentive and really friendly. the room was very comfortable.
