Great value for the best view in Dali. Also love the host family being very helpful and gave many great advices. We had listened to their advice on activities and restaurants and nothing disappointing. The room is beautiful, well designed, with a terrace and a garden with the lake view. Quite comparable to other design hotels. My son and I also get to practice guitar and ukelele. The view from rooftop terrace is unmatchable and pictures taken there have been well published in various newspapers.

This courtyard is full of beautiful design details and traditional cultural elements. Location is very convenient, only a few minutes of walk away from the busiest area in Dali old town, close to everything that a tourist needs, yet it is very quiet. Our host is really friendly and helpful. She provided us many useful information and treated us with good Chinese tea and handmade coffee. We really feel at home here.

We spent 4 nights at Dali Dare which was super nice and calming - it was a place where time slowed down for us. The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hosts were lovely and super welcoming. Had the best mi xian (rice noodles) for breakfast!
The location is a bit isolated - it’s about 30 mins drive to Dali Ancient Town but it was also nice being away from the crowds.
Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dali.

it's one of the best hostels I've stayed in years of travel. I'd like to thank Pan Pan for her dedication to my needs. It's clean, comfortable bed, great location, what more could you ask for. Inn is located just outside the ancient city. The location is quiet and not noisy. The inn is beautiful and Instagram able! Room is very clean. We booked a family room and it is very comfortable for 3 pax. Host and staff showed warm hospitality and helped us with our transport bookings!
It is very convenient and eateries were just walking distance away (Right opposite and besides). Kristine was a great host and we came back to rent a room again on our last day before heading to Kunming to catch a flight back to our home country. The place has easy access for cars to stop if you have big luggage. Beautiful hotel. Love it so much. Will come again for sure.

The guest house is charming: traditional with a courtyard and garden with spacious, comfortable rooms. It is in a quiet, convenient location, just a couple of minutes from the main shopping street. Breakfast was cooked personally by the manager and was fresh, delicious and ample. The manager was always smiling, friendly and helpful. We stayed there for about 12 days so we were happy and relaxed there.
