We had a great experience! The host packed us a to go breakfast as we were catching an early train. Parking is not free but very convenient, close and only $2000 CLP per day.
Very friendly and helpful staff. They were unable to accommodate us due to unexpected plumbing issues in our room. However, they arranged an alternative hostel (which was lovely) and drove us to it. They also gave us coffee and cake while they were sorting all this out.
This is a clean, comfortable apartment with lots of natural light. It is located on a steep hillside overlooking the city and river. Plaza de Armas is approximately 1 km away, as is Playa Los Gringos. Hosts were attentive and allowed an early check in with a $35US surcharge.
Beautiful place with a wonderful host, everything was fantastic! Great ambiance, breakfast and lovely music. Very kind owner and his wife (also cute daughter) made us feel right at home :-)
We had a great experience at Casona Talpen - everything was perfect! The place is strategically located in a quiet rural area, shielded from the convenient road that links it with Constitución and other towns, but at a short distance of it. The hotel is brand-new, beautiful, and very comfortable, the hosts are amazing and the breakfast is mouth-watering, local, and fresh. We could not recommend staying at Casona Talpen highly enough!
