The host Dennis is very welcoming and very open to help with anything.
Our room was large and had everything we needed. There were kitchenware and a small closet.
The garden and surroundings of the house are very beautiful and it is 10 minutes by tram to the city center.
Thank you Dennis for the nice treats.
The charming Nydeck hotel at the east end of Bern's famous shopping lane offers you light and fully equipped rooms and superb views of the green hills and the Aare river.

The Nydegg Hotel is superbly located in the old town of Berne: Walking distance from all landmarks. Even when located in the middle of the old city at night our room was quiet - in spite sleeping with open windows....
A coffee maker and a bottle of water were also provided.
Also to mention the very caring landlord who was genuinely interested we feeling comfortable.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
