This was the perfect place for me to stay while hiking in the area, although my wife had to cancel due to foot injuries. The host was friendly and knowledgeable about trail conditions following the recent floods, which delayed my arrival, but she informed me about road conditions by phone and messaging. She assisted my befriending another solo international traveler, even though we had no common language - a memory to last a lifetime. Good food proportioned to each guest's needs. Very clean and quiet. I'm already thinking about ways to return, maybe with my wife and a couple hiking buddies.

This is a traditional and cosy hotel in a quiet location. It’s perfect for accessing the mountains and is very close to the centre of Grächen. Marco and his family are wonderful hosts. They were super helpful with their local knowledge of transport,mountains,trails etc. the rooms were cosy and comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty,plentiful and good coffee. This is a great value hotel run by lovely,friendly people. Grächen is a quaint and friendly village and the area is stunning.
The place is just great. We are very happy about our stay. The room had everything we need and there was a beautiful view too. Parking in front of the property, shops and restaurants close by. Angela the host was very nice and helpful. We would highly recommend stay in Pension Taverne.
The pension is located in the middle of the mountain, which provides a very nice view. The breakfast was also good considering the price. The host was very kind.
The apartment is lovely, quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything is very well maintained and the garden is exceptional. The hosts are really friendly and are attentive to everything you may need. A very old and charming Swiss mountain house set in a picturesque village with bars and restaurants. A wonderful breakfast menu, free coffee/tea. Fresh bread and local honey. Good beds, great views and wonderful hosts.
Great value for money. A well equipped self-service kitchen and dining area, made for a great hostel experience. Great for me as a biker, looking for a bed.
Location was in a super nice and quiet area in the mountains. The host left us even a delicious Zopf :) And the GoldCard allows you to freely use the Hannigalp-Bahn! All was great, thank you!
The apartment is in an excellent location with view over the alps and the matterhorn. Its a very quiet place and has a garden to enjoy it. The kitchen is complete with everything you need to do simple cooking. The rooms were both very clean and pleasent. The host leaves all the details covered, such as wood for the external fire place and board games. It was a great stay in a great small town. The town has everything which you migth need: restaurants, supermarkets and pharmacies.
