The property is located a mile or so outside of the small town of Adelboden. While this is quiet and characterful it is not ideal for walking along the minor road into town though due to it’s narrowness making encounters with cars, tractors, etc quite interesting but there is a regular free bus that stops at the end of the driveway of the property.

Lovely Chalet at the top of a small village above Sierre. Bring your supplies up from the valley and enjoy the views and cooking your meals in the well equipped kitchen. The beautiful town of Vercorin is just a little hike up the mountain and you can cross to the other side of the valley via a suspension bridge. Just make sure it’s still open when you come back. The bungee jumpers closed it around 6 pm just when I got there.

Pension Sonne was just as we expected from the description online. We wanted to stay somewhere with character, and got exactly that. The bedroom was comfortable with good storage space (even for hiking boots) and everywhere was really clean. We were made to feel very welcome, and the breakfast was amazing - including wide range of different teas, jams and delicious fresh breads. Although the property isn’t in the main part of Adelboden, it is only a 15-20 minute walk away and there is a bus service too. The walk into Adelboden is very pretty, and we enjoyed the tranquility of being situated just outside the town.

A lot, the house is well maintained, you have a parking place, and a great view to the valley, the room is well renovated, and you have access to many things you might need.
the host is very friendly, and helpful. the family is quiet nice there. if you have small childeren also there are lots of toys in front of you to enjoy it. the beds are pretty much comfortable. the bathroom is well renovated.
I stayed here for one night whilst cycling up the valley (on the steep but beautiful Alte Strasse) and then over the Hahnenmoos Pass the following day.

Very spacious apartment, very well equipped and in a pleasant and quiet road. Erika and Ruedi are lovely hosts. Would highly recommend this apartment if travelling to Adelboden. Please note, it is not in the village, but for skiing it is perfect (quick 3 mms drive to Adelboden-Oey car park).

A small and charming boutique hotel. Renovated about two years ago. We stayed in the corner room from which the view is the most beautiful. the room was clean and polished. Nice breakfast and very kind and helpful staff. Kristin was especially helpful in the mornings.
I really enjoyed my days in Adelboden. Gabi was a great host and asked me often if I needed anything. The breakfast was nice and plenty. I had a room with an amazing view of the mountains- what a treat.
If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place, Anno Domini is the perfect choice.
Also close to the bus station if you want to get to city center easily. Or you can just walk and enjoy the spectacular view.
