House was cosy, room was clean/nice, bathroom was clean/large. Hosts were very nice, helpful. Stay was incredible. Proximity to Cowichan bay, wineries, road to Duncan or Victoria was OK by car. Finally this quiet place was incredible qnd better than expected. Recommended.

In a very quiet, peaceful neighbourhood. I didn’t want to be near hustle and bustle for a couple of day and Zen Retreat was perfect to de-stress.
It’s a few miles to Victoria city centre so, if you want nightlife this won’t be for you.
It was spotlessly clean and the bed was amazingly comfortable.

Brilliant location about 10 minutes drive from city centre. Our room was very clean, as was the whole house as far as we could see. The bed was comfortable and the enormous tv had Netflix!

This small hotel is charming and our room was lovely and very comfortable. The hotel is just a few blocks off Sidney's "downtown" and so convenient to restaurants / shops / the waterfront but quiet at night.
Elegant home situated in a scenic spot overlooking Salt Spring Island and the ocean. Stunning gardens and flowers all around the property. It was fun to watch the ferries pass by. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, with wonderful pillows. It was amazingly quiet and cosy during the night, giving us a very restful stay. Lovely bathroom with shower and window seat featuring a beautiful view. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Gourmet coffee was a treat. Friendly, hospitable hosts.
Great value and great location, right by the ocean. Had all the things we like such as a bar fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The lovely lady in the office was very accommodating and helpful and other staff were very friendly. Free parking. Short drive to downtown Sidney. We attended a wedding in the area and it was nice to stay away from Victoria and be in a smaller, quieter community.
