Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The hosts were welcoming and could not do enough to make us feel at home. From the bottle of wine on the fridge on arrival to the home made crumble. Could not fault the accomodation.
Separate garden cottage with all the amenities that we needed for 3 nights. It was great having the aircon in the middle of Summer and the porch in the evenings was perfect for sundowners and watching the deer graze in the garden.
Kitchenette served us well as we like to eat in. Additional facilities like free wifi and laundry facilities weren't mentioned and a nice surprise. A short drive to the lake side and the local wine farms are close by.
Host was easily contactable. We will definitely return.
