The room was spacious and quiet, with good A/C, a clean & comfortable bed, a tidy kitchenette with fridge, and a nice work area. What a change to open the window in the evening and hear nothing but birds, crickets, and the wind. The river valley trails nearby are a beautiful place to go for a jog. I hope to return to the Guest House on the Mount again soon.

Rather cheap. Good communication to the city centre. Close to general shops and a few good restaurants. The restaurant (Knotty Pine) next to the reception desk is a convenient solution for breakfasts and lunches (cheap, big portions, open at good hours). The TV, microwave, and mini fridge were rather new.

Kevin was a welcoming host. The accommodation was very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Very quiet street, with garden backing onto walking trail and the river. We were visiting the city to see family and Kevin's house was felt like s home ftom home. Would recommend

The location was perfect for us as we were in London for a Hospital appointment. and the Guest House is only 5 min. away by car. The room had a fridge, microwave, so we were able to prepare a light meal. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.

My husband and I found this apartment to be exactly as advertised. It was extremely clean, very well equipped, in a great location near Wortley Road and was excellent value. Way more spacious than a regular hotel room. Susie the host was very efficient and friendly and the check in was very straightforward. We would certainly recommend this accommodation and would stay there again ourselves.

Simply put, this was one of the nicest properties we have ever stayed in. The hosts were communicative. The instructions for entry were clear and intuitive. The property, was, of course, excellently located in Wortley Village. The interior was exquisite, spotless and as equipped as one could hope! It was a bit warm inside, but that was remedied by opening the windows (plentiful), which provided a glorious cross-breeze. It was a bright and inviting space. The property was quiet and the surroundings were inviting.
