I arrived late and left in the morning. Access was easy and one of the hosts came out to greet me and make sure I made it into my room ok. Room was large, comfortable and clean. The pool and grill areas looked like a fun place to hang out - which I would have if I had time.
The room size, pool, hot tub, loaner Canoes’s and basketball courts were great for a family stay. Location right by the lake and the hosts Sandor and Eva were incredibly helpful and kind. Also very clean!
My sister and I had a 2 night stay at the school house inn! The owners are real sweet hearts especially Eva ! And her food is amazing. My sister and I felt so comfortable and taken care of. We love that it's a small business so it was quiet and felt like home in a way... and Eva's Cafe is so good .. a lot is made with food from her garden! So fresh and yummy ! And the town ppl who eat there are also nice it all had a small town vibe ! It was great🥰
We had an amazing stay at this super well equipped holiday home - great location at the lake with bbq, kayaks, stand-up paddling etc free to use :)! Also easy access via key lock box and nice contact with the very responsive & helpful host!
It felt very welcoming, a home away from home. The food we ordered from Eva was all homemade and delicious. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I would recommend staying here if you plan to be in the area, hiking in Algonquin Park nearby. In the summer months, there are canoes to use on Round Lake across the street, BBQ, pool, green space, and hot tub. There is a place to have a bonfire as well. Unique place, with very special hosts.
