Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
Quiet, despite being so central. Shaded house. Lovely antique touches, nice linens. Breakfast was DIVINE!! Fluffy omelette with local aged cheddar, fresh fruit, excellent coffee, beautiful jams. Would definitely return!
It was our first time at a b@b it was lovely, the rooms the food it was amazing. In finding that we had family members needing accommodations our host Kimberly was extremely helpful and accommodating. Thank you Kimberly, we will certainly be back.
The apartment is warm and cozy, with a sitting area and a kitchen. It is located in the charming town of Campbellford, on the Trent River. Ferris Prov Park is nearby. The host provides a fresh milk, eggs, bread, and other supplies for breakfast!
Great breakfast! Great location! Great communication with host.
The place is a bit dated but has character and makes up with the host attentiveness.
Overall: exceeded expectations (:
Thank you for a great stay Kimberly!
The apartment is comfortable and cozy. There is a full kitchen, and the host leaves food for guests to make a delicious breakfast (eggs, milk, bread, pancake mix, cereal, etc). The property is on the banks of the historic Trent River, and the Trans-Canada hiking trail is just a short walk away. In the summer months, many of the nearby towns have charming local fairs, so there is lots to do in an around Campbellford. We will definitely come back.
Lovely, clean and cozy accommodations. Great location right on the water and close to all amenities. Host was very friendly and helpful. The provided breakfast was a nice touch. We will certainly be back again in the future :)
The hospitality was warm and welcoming. Helpful and friendly hostess made us feel comfortable and left us nice treats which was a pleasant and unexpected surprise! Also a great location for a couple nights stay
Kim was an excellent host and the property itself was very charming with a relaxing ambience and views of the Trent River from most windows. It is also well located close to several nice restaurants and essential shopping. The included breakfast was also excellent and we would definitely stay there again.
