Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
It’s so nice, in the middle of the jungle with small cabins to stay in! The cabins are quite luxurious for what we expected! The hosts were super nice and we talked a lot to them about why they moved to Guatemala. The breakfast was lovely! Also one of our favourites was the outdoor shower :). It was just amazing!
I loved how at home i felt in the space. I loved the proud Garifuna language and heritage on display. Our hosts went out their way to help us get to the guesthouse.
Friendly, welcoming, accommodateing andinformative owners.
Quiet location, very clean and large spacious rooms extra large bathroom
Delicious breakfast served to us.
Would definitely stay here again
Xavi was very helpful and answered us all our questions.
We liked the quiet atmosphere and from our balcony we could see the sunrise over the care bean sea.
The breakfast with fresh fruits, juices and baked delicious food we liked very much.
We could use the SUP and bicycles for free.
I destinitevely would recommend it.
Eva and the rest of the staff were superb in being helpful and sharing information. Lisa was such a gracious host, sharing of herself and interested in us as well. The building is very clean and there were plenty of towels. The hot shower was appreciated. The location is central and an easy walk to quite a few restaurants. The breakfasts that were included with our booking were delicious and nourishing. We also really appreciated the chance to fill our water bottles with clean water whenever we needed to!
The beds and linens were exceptionally comfortable and the breakfast was good quality, so as a bed and breakfast, they deliver. The water pressure was good and the unit we had (Sunset) was well equipped with good quality items and beautifully decorated. I felt very comfortable in our space. The property was flexible by adding a day to our reservation when I realized the boats from Livingston don't run on weekends.
