I liked that it was a few km from the centre of town. The grounds were spacious, with several hammocks and with a river flowing nearby. The room was comfortable and attractive. There was a wide balcony outside the room, with table and chairs to enjoy the scenery. The dining area was spacious but beautifully set up with lovely crockery and rustic charm. The breakfast was plentiful with many options. The grounds included an area for camping, it is a mini ranch with three horses.
There was a very relaxed feeling, nothing was too much trouble and we even had a campfire one evening.
Very relaxing, was made to feel at home and felt very welcomed with my dog. It was wonderful having a lot of space for him to run around.
I enjoyed too that there was much to explore in the opposite direction- I was glad to have brought my bike. The road by the pousada was very flat, so great for cycling. There’s a good restaurant 3 km the opposite direction to town. The town centre was an easy ride in and much easier by bike, so that I didn’t need to worry about finding where to park the car.
All in all a wonderful stay, I hope to be back.

The pousada is a 10 min walk from the main square of Tiradentes and is located in a quiet area. It is very safe to walk around in Tiradentes. It was easy to park the car in front of the pousada. The room was very comfortable with nice beds and linen and a warm blanket. The pousada has a very nice atmosphere and nice details and is clean. It was very cold in the morning and evening, too cold to swim, the pool was much smaller than I expected but this did not matter as it was too cold to swim anyhow. Breakfast was basic and nice.
My partner and I really enjoyed our stay - our room was clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. What made our stay particularly lovely was the kindness and hospitality with which we were received by our host, thanks Marcelo!
Otávio, the owner, was extremely nice and helpful and it is a good conversationalist. The location of the hostal is really good, close enough to everything but far enough as to avoid the noise of traffic and parties. The breakfast was very good!

The location is also good, if not great, being only 10 minutes walking to the old city centre.
