Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Host Andre is a nice person and helpful with answering questions etc. The location is quiet at night (no music, no dogs, no traffic), but during the day there is some noise from the nearby road. The house gives you lot of privacy. The WiFi is good, but only available on 1 side of the house. The bathroom is good, the rest of the house is in less good condition.
This is a great place: the hosts are very wellcoming and accomodating, the appartment is very clean and it has a fridge with all kinds of drinks: soft drinks, beer, and even (local) wine! The host explains very well what is where and picking up keys / giving them in return was very easy as they are very communicative. For the money it's a real bargain and the area / location is very quiet and peaceful (but still very close to the center of Santa Teresa). Totally recommendable.
