Wow, what an amazing pousada. We were blown away above all by the incredible location which was absolutely idyllic: you can literally hear the waves crashing on the beach from your room!!
The room was very well-appointed with a super comfy bed, mini fridge (important for beach side beers!) and a really nice shower.
The fact that staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to organise a day out snorkeling and seeing nearby beaches was another huge plus. They even went as far as to give us a ride in their boat back to Angra dos Reis for a really reasonable price!
10/10 would recommend.
P.s. Did I mention the beautiful sunset which you won't get from the other side of the island in busy Abraão? So romantic.

Natalia is extremely nice and helpful, and always with good advices about Ilha Grande. And what to say about her breakfast ? All of us were eager to wake up to get it :) It’s delicious.
But obviously as you can see with the pictures, her place is located in a very nice Area with beautiful surroundings and a lot of nature. Furthermore there are a lot of good restaurants in the village next door.

The location is great your are far from all the noise and inside the jungle, yes is a bit of a walk but easy to do. Loved it.

In the centre of Ilha Grande, the Lonier Ilha Inn flats are located in central Vila Abraão. They are just 50 metres from the beach.

Very close to the Ferry drop off and convenient to book further boat tours. Very inexpensive . More than adequate for the price. Clean sheets and small patio for drying clothes. Air-conditioning. There was a full kitchen which we did not use, other than the fridge.. decent breakfast

Great location right next to the beach! Adama our host was incredibly helpful & so friendly. He helped to organise our boats and trips and negotiated cheaper prices. He did our washing too for no extra charge.

Our host Maria was AMAZING! Super friendly and very accommodating! Anything we needed she was there to help, breakfast was fantastic and fresh every morning! Location was perfect only a 3 minute walk to a very very quiet beach (Less than 10 people) it felt like our own private beach 😍! The room we stayed in was uphill but very secluded and quiet which was perfect for us and those that want the most relaxing experience, I simply cant fault anything and would give this place 10 stars if I could! A very beautiful little Pousada with great hosts!
We stayed with a group of 7 friends and really enjoyed it. It was the perfect location for our trip to this amazing island. Especially the breakfast and the dinner were very good. Looking forward to the next time on Ilha Grande.
We had an amazing time at La Coquille. Everything was super! Francisco and Ricardo are great hosts, both speaks very good English. We eat at their restaurant everyday because, the food is delicious. They are located in the pristine part of Araçatiba beach and our room had a wonderful view. We definitely recommend and we definitely will return.
Andrade was a great host and helped us arrange travel to and from the Pousada as well as recommended interesting walks in the area. The location is amazing and breakfasts are delicious!
