it’s a secluded area where you will definitely need a car to get there. there is a bus stop but a car is more convenient. the chale is very close to a river which has two entrances for natural swimming pools, which were some of the best that we saw during our stay in paraty. The staff were very nice and helpful. our chale ended up being neighbors with the caretaker Alfredo who is always up for conversation and gave us amazing tips and locations to enjoy in Paraty. Many of our excursions were thanks to his knowledge of the area!

Beautiful family run pousada in a great location just outside the historic centre. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. Excellent breakfast with bread , cheese ham and eggs, various fresh fruits and to die for cakes! Walking distance from the bus station. Helpful and friendly staff.
The flat was clean, nice and comfortable. The bed was really comfy too. The kitchen was small but we knew that so we didn’t mind. It is a 5-minute walk from the city center. The bathroom was also modern. Communication with host excellent.
Great value for money. Not the most salubrious of locations but the locals were really friendly and it felt safe (even though might not have looked safe). Betty was a great host - she clearly loves cooking and looking after her guests. Breakfasts were great - fresh fruit, eggs, cakes - lots on offer
Great hostel, friendly and helpful staff, modern facilities, spacious room and bathroom, everything was clean. Well equipped kitchen. Cheap laundry option. The old town is a short walk of just over 10' away, the bus station 8'.

great facilities, very secure, clean, great location on the beach, only a walk into the centre.. Roberto was a great host and was very helpful when our transfer booked with a company went wrong when leaving.
Great hosts, comfortable room for the family and hostel facilities including an outside kitchen. The tiny pool is a great extra to cool off, and kept very clean. We loved the relaxed atmosphere, it is small scale and a bit out of town so super quiet. Highly recommended.
The hostel was in a great location - 5 minutes walk from the centre of Paraty. The room was tidy and cleaned every day. Air conditioning in the room to keep the room cool. The facilities were good - the swimming pool and all the trees were beautiful! Breakfast was good also! Friendly staff. Quiet location.
