Perfect place if you are visiting Chapada! Close to beautiful waterfalls! The Castalar itself is amazing, nicely decorated, the swimming pool is huge! We also experienced the full moon temazcal and massage from Julia was absolutely the best- you must try ! Very beautiful breakfast and super quiet place for sleeping. I would definately go there again, this place is filled with positive energy and immersed in nature!

The breakfast was genuinely exquisite and the room was super clean. A super cute place with a rooftop that allows you to watch the stars at night. Very close to the center by foot. We had an amazing stay and I recommend no hesitation whatsoever. The couple hosts were always very keen to give advice .

Caio and Musa provided us with a superb accommodation and wonderful experience. This is a quiet and wonderful place in the mid of nature with a 5 start breakfast served. You’ll also have access to a full kitchen 24/7 so you can cook your own meals. The garden and hammocks will help you relax in the middle of wonderful birds and wildlife that will come to enchant you. The room is quite comfortable and have A/C, bedding and towels are super clean and the pillows are quite comfortable.

Jeronimo is a super host and always makes sure you've got all what you need. Despite his busy scheduled he made sure we received all info we needed and gave us some tips on restaurants to go and activities to do around town. The atmosphere at the hostel is very relaxed and the common spaces (lounge with TV and kitchen) foster a pleasant environment among travellers.

The breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly. Check in was easy and the place was clean and well kept. Nice to be out of town a bit.

Our host, Enzo, is a very kind and caring person. He helped us discover the Chapada Diamantina National Park, gave us many advices about the best restaurants and hikes in the village, offered us many local meals, and he even brought us to the hospital when my wife hurt herself!
We wanted to stay only 2 nights in Vale do Capão but thanks to Enzo, we stayed 5 incredible nights!
The host went over and above to make our stay as comfortable as possible both before & after our big hike in Chapada Diamantina. The food was excellent, comfortable & clean rooms & even let us stay a little over check out while we waited for our bus.
We stayed here for 3 days before and went to Chapada for 3 days tramping. Thanks to the host's help, they assisted us to keep our extra belongings while we were away.
We stayed in a different room this time. The room is bigger than before, still comfortable! Same as the first time, they provide us some fresh clean towels and provide us with an extra blanket this time.
They also have a small stove and some cutlery for guests to use.
Talisson, who is the host, is helpful, welcoming, and understanding. Prior to our booking, he took time to answer all my questions. He is even happy to receive us outside of the normal check-in time.
The room is tidy and clean. It has TV and A/C with an individual bathroom.
