The pousada is very clean and well-maintained. The host family does everything for your own comfort and happiness. they gave a lot of information about nearby tours, made recommendations and helped us making decisions. We booked last minute and got lucky. Great location, close to bars and restaurants, but on a quiet street. Good value for money. Has air conditioning which we really appreciated! Suited our needs perfectly.
This is a small family-run guest house. After making the reservation, I inquired about something I want to know and got a clear answer. that's why I did not worried about my stay.
The rooms is just little old , but it was very well cleaned. Simone, the landlord, really cares about me, a foreigner from far away, and is very heartfelt. Of course the breakfast is delicious with local specialties. In addition, it is very convenient because you can walk from the bus terminal without feeling dangerous and it is located in the city center.
- Super friendly host! He speaks quite good English, so as a foreign tourist that really is helpful here.
- He helps you with ALL your questions and makes sure you get the lowest price for tours and transfers (it's really a lot cheaper to book through him, believe me!)

The owner took very good care of us and was very nice, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very authentic and cute, and the pousada had a beautiful location. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only a short drive from the city center. The perfect spot for a retreat close to Lençóis Maranhenses.
