As avid kiteboarders, the location couldn't have been better. You have the option to kite right in front of the house or embark on a short 5-10 minute downwind journey to Macapa lagoon, where you'll find ideal flat water conditions.
The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and I must give a resounding 5 stars to Thales - he truly stands out as one of the best hosts I've ever encountered. Thales went above and beyond to ensure our stay was not only enjoyable, but also safe. He even drove my friend to the clinic (an hour away or so) who need stitches from minor kite accident Additionally, he orchestrated an unforgettable downwind adventure to the Parniaba delta, involving a multi-step journey that included driving, boating, and quad biking. Thales' dedication to our experience made our time in Barra Grande truly exceptional.

The host is very nice and helpful, the place it’s pretty simple, the garden is very cozy with many areas to relax. It’s at the edge of the village, but there is still one street connected to the centre with lights on at night. Very nice accommodation!

The location is amazing. Just few steps from the beach, where you can kite. But it is not an official kite spot, if you go where most people go (to BGK), its few minutes walk- still ok. The Guesthouse&Hostel has a very nice pool area, with lots of place where you can chill or sunbath. The breakfast costs 25reais and is ok for the price. The staff is always open to help you.
