Our room on the second floor looked out directly over the Danube, perfect view. The hotel location is at the far end of the village, past the "old town" and very quiet. The owners/family are on hand for the restaurant.
Utterly charming, family-run little hotel, located a couple of minutes' walk from the cute old part of town. Restaurant and balcony have clear view of the Danube and serve fresh, tasty fish. Room clean and pleasant. Breakfast simple but tasty. Staff kind and helpful (and seemed to forgive us when we forgot to return the room key and had to post it to them!).
So quiet and peaceful. What better way to end a long cycling day than watching the sunset over the Danube from your own little terrace in a beautiful garden!
Staff were nice and friendly and the location is right on the river shore and close to the administrative city center.
We booked 2 rooms and one of them was really warm, spacious and sympathetic at the last floor and river view.
