The room was absolutely fantastic—spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Whether it was because we were exhausted or simply because the bed was so incredibly comfortable, we slept exceptionally well. The mattress seemed to be of very high quality, providing the perfect balance of support and softness. It was one of the best nights of sleep we've had in a long time!

A nice place, we have visited it over the years. Unfortunately the elderly couple who owned the place have passed away and the property is not so well-kept as before. It is a nice, central location and it has all one needs for an unpretentious stay.

Beautiful room and guest house gardens. The room was immaculate and the gardens were lovely to relax in. The area is quiet and relaxing. You can make tea and coffee in the reception and there is lots of seating outside to enjoy. You can park your car for free on the road outside. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

This is a perfect place if you want to explore Koprivshtitsa - great location and a wonderful hostess in Sonia who endured our mangled Bulgarian and was just super-friendly throughout the time we were there. Most people probably only visit Koprivshtitsa for the day - but it's worth staying over for a couple of nights to soak up the atmosphere properly - and Guest House Maria is the perfect place to stay if you take that option.
The room was spacious and in traditional Bulgarian Revival style; the beds were comfortable and the living space generous. The curtain and blinds block the light very well at night and the area is quiet. The views are pleasant and the garden is lovely. The guesthouse is very close to a shop and a 5 minute walk from the main square. Parking is available on the side of the house. The hostess communicated with us in French.
