Delicious eggs left for us by owner, from their own chickens. Wine was left for us too although we didn't have time to drink it. We arrived very late but this was not a problem. Kitchen was well stocked with everything we could need for cooking including herbs and spices. Good location handy for Plopsaland, could be walked although we drove as it was raining. House was very characterful and memorable. Plenty of towels.

Nice place to stay, and the place was/will be relatively quiet concidering it is a tourist town. All was clean, with comfortable beds, water heater.

The flat is situated in a quiet residential street, a 4 minute walk to the beach and 8 minutes to De Panne's main shopping street. It's equipped with a fridge and microwave. And there's a coffee pod machine - God only knows why they're so popular. There is an allocated parking space on site and additional free parking in the street outside. The flat was clean and comfortable. It's certainly on our list of places to return to.
There is a bakery 200m away. The opening times plate says that it's closed on Mondays. We weren't there on a Monday so can't verify that but it was also closed on a Tuesday. So beware.
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The hostess met us with the keys and all the necessary information. The house is in a quiet street with parking spaces, near the coast tram and within walking distance of the town and beach.
The entire house was immaculately clean and well equipped to suit all.
The facilities were excellent, the apartment had everything you could need and more.

The beds were all comfortable and the apartment was very spacious. Private parking right outside made it very easy to unpack and pack up.
It really felt like a home from home.
