Simple and clean. Not luxury but the bed was comfy, bathroom clean and location handy for the beach and nice local bars for food and beers. Only stayed 1 night as in transit. Room 2 upstairs. It had all we needed but basic facilities, ie no food/bar etc. friendly staff who ordered a taxi for us. 15 minutes to the airport (US$30)

A truly magnificent hotel, though it felt more like a home welcoming guests then the usual hotel. A beautiful historic house in a wonderful location with magnificent views a beautiful swimming pool and an art filled house. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in and we can’t recommend it enough. What was particularly excellent was how the managers, Sharon and hAdrian made us feel welcome and organised just everything for us. Nothing was too difficult and they were able to get us reservations at top heating spots. Do stay here. But please don’t do that when we are next going there

We had a wonderful stay, It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and truly felt like a home away from home. The hosts, Iris and her son Ron, were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. The room had everything we needed, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay in Barbados.
The location was excellent not far from the beach, bars and restaurants, we definitely stay here again.

Great location and amazing hosts. Delia and Byrd went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Plenty of advice on things to do and places to visit. Very friendly and really know how to look after their guests.
Location is great with parking available, right next to a beautiful beach. It is going through some renovation but with no impact to amenities etc. Room was clean and with air-con and had everything we needed. Would definitely go back!
Bob met us at the gate on an early evening arrival, and helped me with some quick orientation and arrival shopping. The property is quiet, clean, and ideally located near an excellent non-touristic beach. The kitchen was well equipped, with excellent air conditioning in both bedrooms. The outdoor space is a great place to relax and enjoy the mellow evenings. Walking distance to shops, bus terminal, beach, and Bob was always available to chat and answer any questions we had. Absolutely great stay and top host, highly recommended! Thank you!
Pauline was very responsive on WhatsApp to any questions! Great location, bus stop nearby, really nice quiet beach nearby. Use a google pin to find the place (not the address), and then it's easy to spot once you're on the street (save a map of the island for offline). The area feels safe - I walked a lot including into Speightstown. There's a landline which is helpful for ordering delivery and making reservations. I would stay here again!
Excellent property and very friendly & helpful host. Location quite quiet but very close to the beautiful Heywoods Beach and easy to get buses or taxis to local bars & restaurants etc.
