It's a one-minute walk to the beach in front of Sandals ,but I preferred to walk about 5 -minutes to swimmable Dover Beach where sun beds/umbrellas were for rent,and where there were beachfront restaurants. Plenty of taxis were available near the hotel.
If one intends to spend one's vacation exploring the various beaches on the island as I did ,then this hotel is quite acceptable. If you need to spend much time in the hotel then this may not be the place for you,although the terraces were nice. The rooms are very basic,but clean.Nothing shabby .The hotel rate is VERY good given the cost of most hotels on the island during high season. There was no noise from cars/traffic. Management was very timely in responding to emails. I would stay here again-unless I were on my honeymoon.

I liked the curb appeal of the home. It was well maintained & landscaped beautifully. Iris was available and very obliging with any questions or concerns— which I had none. Fellow guests were pleasant. It was very quiet & location was excellent — walking distance St. Lawrence Gap, Oistons, Dover Beach, etc. I look forward to returning of to Barbados & the Dolphin Inn😊

Honestly, pretty much everything! Marsha and Paul are great hosts and will willingly offer advice if needed. The studio itself is perfect facilities wise.
The room (Flamboyance) that I had was very good: spacious, high ceiling, nice bathroom. A private deck with comfortable furniture. From the room and the deck one can see the sea. Lovely quiet boutique hotel. Lots of peacocks roaming around which added to the atmosphere. Laid back with nothing rushed. Lovely room with swinging day bed on the terrace (we had the Hummingbird room). Good food and friendly staff. We had complimentary yoga at sunset on the terrace which was a nice added extra

If You don't need a dear hotel, this place gives You all You need. Located just on the beautiful quiet private beach, within close distance to all shops, bars, etc. and public transport just outside. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
Ruth and Terry were excellent hosts, very friendly and really helped us make most of our stay on Barbados and make us feel right at home at their guesthouse. There was a small pool in the back which was nice. Ruth arranged pickup for us and helped us out with car rental, all the things that are difficult to arrange properly when you've never been somewhere and Internet only goes so far. There is a small shopping mall about 600m away.
Made very welcome is of part of the family.
What did we like everything, home from home. Location, friendly atmosphere, great hosts, lovely neighbours, it was paradise.
Hosts were very informative, above and beyond to help.
Will definitely be going back, highly recommend.

The property is a seperate flat in a house. It lies in a quiet suburban area less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. City centre is another 10 minutes walk. The flat is very clean, quiet and have a high standard. Just like an upgraded hotel room. Friendly host does not live on the property, but will arrange taxi to airports etc.
Great Location. It was a quiet area within walking distance to the beach, shopping plaza, restaurants. We were well- received by our friendly hosts. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious and the wifi connection was steady. Great value for any traveller.
