Our first encounter with La Hacienda DD was 2 years ago. We were first met by the owner's son who handled all the practical matters, then our stay was taken over by the nice elderly lady who also lives on the ground floor of the house.
We can only send our warmest recommendations to the place and only hope others want to stay at La Hacienda DD - you will not be disappointed.
You get a large apartment with lots of beds (we were 2 adults and 3 children). There is a small kitchen where you can cook if you wish. In total, there is a large walk, kitchen, bathroom and two bedrooms as well as a large terrace.
The place has a pool, but it's not really used, so don't be disappointed when you see the pool but can't use it.
In terms of location, it is a few kilometers outside the city of Trebinje itself. but that didn't matter to us at all as we had our own car. The place is also close to the well-known water park that dominates the city.
Finally, remember that there is a monastery right near La Hacienda DD, where you can buy wine produced at the monastery. The wine should be one of the best in the region.

La Perla is a really comfortable and stylish one bed apartment in a quiet family area of Trebinje. A short walk from the centre it is an excellent pied-a-terre for your visit and Ivana a great host. Well equipped including a washing machine it has all a traveller needs to feel at home.

Quiet area close to the city center by car, not a walking distance though. Nice getaway for an overnight if travelling through Bosnia and for a day-stop in very charming and wonderful Trebinje.
