The location suited my needs. Jeanette and Paul were great hosts and was made to feel very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice and a fitting way to start the day with fresh fruit cereal toast yoghurt and coffee.
A wonderful guesthouse, the room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, beds very comfortable and cosy, with great linen and soft fluffy towels.
Property was easy to access, very central in town but also very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and owners charming and helpful. Overall 10+
I was staying one night in York for work. I chose to stay at a B&B for the ease of having breakfast. The York's Lookout Lodge Bed and Breakfast was excellent. My room was very comfortable and quiet. I had my own bathroom and also had my own, cosy, sitting area. The owners even provided a complimentary port to end the day.
Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were very friendly.
I'd happily recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet stay in York.

The owner Joy, truly is a joy!! Most welcoming , personal and friendly host I have ever come across. We stayed bed and breakfast in April and would thoroughly recommend. Home cooked breakfast in the tea house was so quaint and comforting and our room was spotlessly clean. Bailey our dog had a great time too and was made to feel very welcome. Thanks Joy!
