The location was convenient to all amenities. Breakfast was sensational...coffee pods, a variety of fresh fruit, cereals, milk, stewed fruit, breads, spreads and homemade strawberry jam! Generous layout and a quiet locality with everything required for a restful stay whether overnight or longer!

The Host, Mary, was very welcoming and friendly. Mary allowed me to check in early. The room was extremely comfortable with great heating. Breakfast supplies in the room were wonderful and a huge shower. Very clean room. I would definitely book here again! Great location, walking track along the river, just across the road. 2 minutes drive to the main shopping strip. Lighting in the room was excellent. A big thank you to my lovely hosts!

Very clean and comfortable home. Everything you would need and some very nice extra touches, like fresh fruit and chocolates. Good, quiet location but close to town and parkrun. Personable hosts who were there if you needed. Friendly dog :)

Loved that so many original features of the historic site have been retained! Spacious room with separate living area & access to well equipped shared kitchen. Great location. Friendly hosts. Cosy, quiet bedroom with super comfy bed. Lovely private bathroom is not attached to room but that's ok as plumbing in those days was only behind the house (& it was easy to access) . We will be back next autumn.
