Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
I cannot recommend this place enough. Not too far from town in a quiet neighbourhood is this home-away-from-home with exceptiinal attention to detail. We will definitely stay again if we are back in Canberra.
Spacious. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen.
Some food provided for arrival, including milk, eggs bread, etc... So convenient for an late afternoon arrival in the rain. Very friendly and helpful hosts.
The guest house was well equipped, for example dishwasher, washing machine, coffee maker, plus the usual facilities. The bathroom was quite spacious and nice to use. A wide array of teas and coffees was provided. The rooms were lightly furnished with practical sofa, chairs and there was clothes hanging space in the bedrooms.
Large room with self contained kitchen, bathroom and view of pool. Everything we wanted to see was about 10-20 minutes drive. Nice and quiet and private. Nice young family. The suite had eggs, bread, milk, coffee machine etc and nice shampoo and conditioner. Highly recommended
The Studio Suite definitely exceeded our expectations.
It was a hot day, but inside the studio, the temperature was always kept at an enjoyable temperature!
The furniture is amazing and the room is really clean, there is a beautiful swimming pool and very nice outdoor area just outside the door.
It would be preferable to have a car, but it's worth it, as it a very quiet neighbourhood, far from the noise of the city or other guests, like it would be in a hotel.
Plus the host is very welcoming and at your care if needed.
