Perfect location, quiet, private and lovely to watch the kangaroos. Easy drive to main towns for supermarkets and eating out. The house was very comfortable and kitchen supplies were great and very easy to self cater.
Location was 15 min drive to both Penneshaw and Kingscote.

The cottage was fabulous. Well equipped with everything we needed. Great communication from the host and very comfortable stay. So private and secluded. Could easily return for a longer stay.
This property is even better than the photos suggest. The private land is stunning, with a unique rock strewn landscape with many local kangaroos living around the house and different views across the beautiful lagoon. The house is very comfortable and the verandah looking out across the water the perfect place to have American river oysters and glass of islander Chardonnay. The kids loved it too and it was very hard to leave! great location for exploring kangaroo island.
Exceptional location on the Pelican Lagoon, with no neighbours except for the kangaroos. Absolutely quiet. It is a very well equipped, spacious, comfortable and absolutely charming old house.
The host, Kate, was very accommodating (ferry cancelled due to bad weather, the host contacted Booking not to charge us for the missing night).
The house is incredible, warm, comfy and spacious. The surrounds are breath-taking, quiet and awe-inspiring. There's nothing to not like about the place. I'd rather say I hated it and no one visits and we can keep it for ourselves but it's too good not to share. The house is well equipped with everything and anything you could ask for. It was an unbelievable stay at the cottage and we will most definitely be back.
