Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
The hosts Phil and Brigette were amazing. Their local knowledge of the area was very helpful. The breakfast which was included was fantastic. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The guesthouse was cozy and spacious. Great location close to town and wineries. Would highly recommend staying there.
Nice quiet location right in the vineyards, only 4 minutes to city centre, well organised key collection, super comfy bed and the hosts are really lovely.
Hotel is situated in a great location, close to cafes & boutique stores. The supermarket is close by too. The room we had faced the Main Street but it was quiet. The carpeted floor and room heating made it comfortable. We did have a room with a kitchen but because of the location we barely used it. The location made it ideal for a relaxed trip away.
Great location, about 4 kms out of Mudgee and so quiet and peaceful. The room and the facilities were first class, close to the vineyards we wanted to visit and a short drive into Mudgee for dinner. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and after being on the road for a while, we were able to wash our clothes...a big help!
Would definitely recommend staying here and would stay again.
Cheap and cheerful. We had an ensuite room. It was dated, but clean, spacious. Bare furnishings. Great location and a great price. Very quiet. Comfy bed. The pub itself is lovely. I really like that they haven't modernised it too much. Friends stayed in a small room with no ensuite - it was tiny!
Great location. Literally 'round the corner for cafes, pubs and clubs. But still quiet at the motel, Very accommodating and thoughtful host who volunteered the only under cover parking for our three motorcycles. Given the chance of rain at the time, this was much appreciated.
