Amazing location, the bed was super comfy and the al fresco area was amazing
Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travelers who prefer laid-back accommodations with a personal touch. Usually family run, these hosts will provide local recommendations and even optional meals. Guest houses sometimes feature a cozy living room or a garden – and are still cheaper than most regular hotels.
The gardens surrounding the accommodation are incredible. My whole family loved exploring them and learning more about the plants from Peter. He generously gave us some cuttings to take home to our garden, and set up a fire pit so we could roast some marshmallows. The beds were comfy, kitchen had all you need, and there was plenty of room to relax. Great location for easy access to all of the Sunshine Coast's highlights whilst being in a quiet area.
Highlight is staying amidst the amazing gardens on the property. For us it was a very convenient stopping point to access and visit our friends in the Sunshine Coast area. Very quiet location and hosts were separate and private to accommodation. Villa is basic but has all amenities you need. Great to be able to bring our dog.
The host, Peter, was great. His gardens, stories and frog tour were incredible. Highly recommend for something truely unique from your run of the mill guesthouse
Property was wonderful - fire pit - great hosts - good conversation - beautiful location and wonderful provisions and facilities. Would definitely recommend for a retreat. I have never used a communal kitchen before but was a good experience. Well appointed. Oh and the toilet seats ... well that was an unexpected experience :-) And we were able to watch the fabulous SUPER MOON rise - was amazing.
I loved the bungalow, it was clean, comfy quiet, with a great view. short walk to the laundry and kitchen dining area, I loved the outdoor decks and the peace. Helen was very accommodating. I can highly recommend this place for downtime. My host knew I had allergy issues and really put in the extra effort to ensure I would be well during my stay.
Peter was a great host, the accommodation was brilliant. It was quiet, extremely comfortable and the surrounds were second to none. Beds were great, the bathrooms were great and the furnishings were extremely comfortable. It was raining and cold when we arrived but the villa was warm and had all the luxuries of home. Peters gardens were amazing and made it feel like you were in another world.
