A very nice place up in the hills and bordering the rainforest. It's just a short drive from the airport, so very convenient for short stays. The swimming pool was great for cooling off in and the veranda area is good place to relax and enjoy the view.

Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Lovely welcome from our great host Peter, provided some very useful local guidance and managed to check us into our room slightly earlier. Relaxed, quiet feel, well maintained with great facilities, utilised the big smart TV to watch the Euros football and the pool was lovely and refreshing.
Great location for cafes and boat tours to the islands and reef. Great outlook, very secure and quiet. Good communication from host.Free wifi.very relaxing. BBQ on same deck as pool was unfortunately unusable as new flooring going in - area roped off. This should be completed shortly.
Really nice and friendly atmosphere. It’s a great hostel for socializing and having a few drinks but also quiet after midnight which is perfect. There’s also a great pool area and TV room to relax! The staff are also really nice and helpful
The hostel is cozy and quiet. The communal areas are spacious and open. I really liked the pool and the location is great. Peter is a great host. Late check-in was easy going.
This is a great hostel and I would totally recommend for anyone wanting to explore the beautiful cairns. The hostel is in a great location close to the lagoon and the marina for boat trips out to the reef as well as super close to shops and restaurants. The hostel was really clean and has a kitchen/ inside common area as well as a outside common area which gives a really social vibe. The staff are super friendly and helpful and there’s a travel desk downstairs where you can book trips. Free pancakes for breakfast was the cherry on top.
Excellent Location. Quiet street. Proximity to Cairns Central shopping and a short drive to city centre. Charming Queenslander living up to its name. Well maintained property with period features and thoughtful decor.
One of the cleanest hostels I’ve ever stayed at. Very quiet and chill. Incredibly spacious and clean kitchen, huge fridge area, spacious showers, great location, right next to the lagoon.
