Warm and welcoming guest houses are ideal for travellers who prefer unfussy accommodation with a personal touch. They are usually family-run, and your host will provide local recommendations and optional meals. Often cheaper than regular hotels, guest houses can also feature a cosy living room and a garden.
Beautiful and quiet property, very comfortable room with every detail considered and looked after - from the bed linen to bathroom amenities. Fantastic walking trail to town. Delicious cooked or continental brekky and the most hospitable and kind hosts, thank you very much Kate and Rick!
The location offers stunning views, and the beautiful garden was a delight to explore.
The house itself was just as charming, feeling more like a comfortable home than a typical hotel. Our room was perfect - cozy and impeccably clean. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Breakfast was another highlight. Everything was delicious, especially the homemade bread.
Ruth, the host, has been very welcoming and friendly.
Highly recommended.
You won't be disappointed!
Situation - attractive hilltop position;
Quiet rural location;
Hostess’s attention to detail;
Hosts respecting our privacy;
Freshly baked bread - and perfect for toast and Shambhala produced honey to spread on it as well as a choice of local fruit jams!
The breakfast was a good guesthouse continental breakfast. The location was excellent with sweeping views across the valleys. Rory and Ruth were excellent hosts and very friendly.
This is the best accommodation that I have stayed at in the South-West of Western Australia. Cathy and Brian are exceptional hosts. The bed and breakfast surroundings were beautiful, lush gardens and a quiet stay in Bridgetown. Room was exceptionally clean. The daily home-made treats that Cathy provided were delicious. Highly recommended. I will be returning very soon.
A cosy clean and relaxing guesthouse with charming views our hosts made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. We will definitely be back!
