The location was good, only a short walk from the fantastic restaurant we attended. There was the feel of an historic guest house with rooms for socializing before television and smart phones.

The house is absolutely stunning. The hosts are so welcoming and approachable. The breakfast is delicious. This house has several couples staying at any one time but we felt like we were the only people on the property, you barely see anyone else but if you do, it’s fleeting and not an issue. Much better than staying in a commercial 5star hotel. The service is very personal and the experience is very private. This place is an absolute gem.

The hosts were so warm and friendly. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. We had breakfast overlooking the garden with beautifully coloured birds at the window and spent an unusually cool November evening in front of the fire reconnecting without our usual distraction of devices and city noise. Everything provided, beds, linen, even toilet paper, was of the highest quality. Breakfast supplies with tea and good coffee were plentiful and available to guests at all hours. Our host was charming and available and helpful at all times. Also great location, lovely garden and quiet.
The Boutique Hotel is exactly what we were after. Cosy, historic and close to town. Virginia was an excellent host and made sure all our needs were catered for. The property has been well restored and maintained, and I would recommend it to others for short stays with their partners or families.
