Our room was fabulous - not only was it very large but the walls were also lined with wood and the room smelled heavenly (like a wood shop). The owners were wonderful - even allowed us to go to breakfast early as we had to leave early. The location is beautiful.

The style of the old house with hand carved wooden structures and furniture, contrasts nicely with the modern new building, which in itself integrates alpine tradition with modern style and amenities. Great location close to the Kanzelwand gondola station. The tourist summer pass was a fantastic addition and we used it for gondola uplift, bus travel and access to the swimming pool over the road.

The property combined the cozy flair of a classical Austrian guesthouse with all the freatures one would expect in a modern hotel. On top, the food was amazing and the staff very nice.
Nice location in the village, walking distance to skilift and restaurants. Beautiful terrace in the sun with views of the mountains. Roomy for just the 2 of us. The furnishing is traditional (a lot of wood), which you like or not (we did). Perfect hosts, very friendly and always there to help.

The inclusion of the Walser/Oberstdorf Bergs Incluksive Card (in summer) which cover 7 lifts and the buses in the area was a great bonus.
This is definitely a place we loved. It is a gem for people that are highly sensitive like me. The rooms are very quiet, in the restaurant the acoustics are good so that your senses are not completely overwhelmed after a meal. We really enjoyed breakfast and the buffet on Saturday evening. The hotel is family-run and the staff is very friendly in a way that feels very natural.
Very friendly hosts, cozy and clean appartment in a great location. Excellent bread service. Snowy slope right outside appartment was great fun for the kids with various sledges provided by the hosts.
